Telos is a private, single-user automation assistant operated by Dylan Wheeler for his own personal use. It is not a commercial product and has no other users. This policy explains how Telos accesses and handles data from Google services.
What data Telos accesses
With the account owner's explicit consent, Telos uses Google OAuth to access the owner's own Google data:
- Gmail (read-only): reading messages to surface and organize the owner's own correspondence and receipts.
- Gmail (compose): staging draft messages for the owner to review and send by hand. Telos never sends email automatically.
- Google Calendar (read-only): reading events for scheduling and time context.
- Google Sheets: reading and appending rows to the owner's own spreadsheets (e.g. a personal expense log).
How data is used and stored
Data is used solely to provide the owner's personal automation. It is stored locally on the owner's own infrastructure, is never sold, never shared with third parties, and is never used for advertising or to train machine-learning models. Google user data is not transferred to anyone except as required to provide these features at the owner's direction.
Telos's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
The account owner can revoke Telos's access at any time via Google Account permissions .
